Hellenic Stroke School – 2026HSS

2nd Panhellenic Educational Meeting on Acute Ischemic Stroke

Thu 19 - Sat 21 Nov 2026 | Athens, Divani Caravel Hotel

Athens, July 2026

Dear Healthcare Professionals,

Following last year’s inaugural educational event, the Hellenic Association of Radiologists and Imaging Professionals (EEAAE) invites you to the 2nd Hellenic Stroke School (2026HSS).

The data and feedback from the first HSS confirmed that your support played a key role in establishing a stable, high-quality educational institution in stroke management in Greece.

The feedback we received from participants via a questionnaire showed that 73% had a very good overall experience, with the remaining percentage describing their experience as good and satisfactory.

The specific rating of the Hands-on Workshops as “very good” was given by 81.5% of the 200 participants. Of these, 75% were Radiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and Interventional Neuroradiologists, while Neurologists, Oncologists, Medical Imaging Technologists, and Nurses also participated.

In 2026, the 2nd Educational Meeting on Acute Ischemic Stroke will take on a nationwide scope. It will last three days and be held in Athens at the Divani Caravel Hotel from Thursday, November 19, through Saturday, November 21, 2026.

The seminar focuses on the Imaging and Endovascular Treatment of Ischemic Stroke, with an emphasis on Mechanical Thrombectomy, and is designed to meet the needs of the modern, multidisciplinary stroke team.

Specifically, the event’s agenda focuses on the following:

• Management of Patients with Ischemic Stroke

• Imaging

• Patient Selection for Thrombectomy

• Techniques and Current Indications

• Hands-on Workshops using simulation manikins and imaging workstations

More information regarding available sponsorship packages and the program will be provided very soon. The Professional Congress Organiser company, Theotokis Travel Congresses, will contact you.
